2/1-We will read the nursery rhyme Jack Be Nimble and create a story page with Jack and his candlestick
2/2- We will make a candlestick
2/3- We will read the nursery rhyme Little Miss Muffet and create a story page with Little Miss Muffet.
2/4-We will make curds and whey
2/5-We will read the nursery rhyme Mary had a Little Lamb and create a story page with Mary and her lamb
2/8- We will make a lamb for Mary
2/9-We will read the nursery rhyme about Humpty Dumpty and create a story page with Humpty Dumpty and his wall.
2/10-We talk about raw and cooked eggs, and we will make scrambled eggs and eat hard boiled eggs
2/11-We will read the nursery rhyme I’m a little teapot and create a story page with a tea pot.
2/12- We will have a Northern Voices tea party!

Theme: Look, Listen and Learn (The 5 senses)
Dates: January 5th-January 8th and January 11th-15th

Language Experiences:
1/5-Make magic goop using water and cornstarch and talk about how it feels!
1/6- We are going to make a texture book and talk about how different things feel!
1/7- We will practice using our sense of smell and smell lots of different scents.
1/8-We will make popcorn and talk about all the senses!
1/11-We will taste different things using our tongue.
1/12-We will make pudding and practice tasting it while we eat!
1/13- Make glasses using pipe cleaners so we can practice using our sense of sight.
1/14-We will make a mirror and then take a reflection walk and look for our reflection
1/15-We will talk about our sense of hearing and will hopefully have a special guest!

11/6-Take a walk outside to look at different types of house or paint a house
11/9-Teachers perform a skit about being good friends
11/10- Make cookies for our families
11/11-Make a family tree
11/12-Talk about sharing and practice sharing trail mix with our friends
